You need a certain amount of money and then you get some sorta paper from the DMV to verify you got enough to pay in case of an accident. I remember reading it in my driver's ed stuff but that was a while ago.

is there anyone paying $2500 for insurance in their 5th year of ownership? I find that inordinately high. I had a major insurance claim (>$10,000) 3 months prior to insuring my S and it was still $1000 less than edmund's quote.. I'm not old either
