S2000, TT, Boxster, Miata...
I am planning on purchasing a convertible. The above are my options.
My Brother has the TT (Coupe) and it is a very nice car.
Miata is underpowered but more affordable.
As 99% of you have S2000 (I, personally, am not sold on the dash, console layout)
Why should I get one?????

You wouldn't rule out a car that performs this well because you didn't like the dash or console layout, would you? It those are the principal criteria on which you're basing your decision, you're looking for the wrong car. You have to begin with performance criteria. Everything else is secondary. If it isn't, you should be considering other choices.
well with whatever choice you dcide with you will enjoy that car, cause all those are very good cars. and your brother has the tt so wouldnt you rule that out?? well i would if it were me. but the s is an unbelievable car, just a little nudge.

I think that most of us have to consider value in making our purchasing decisions. The Miata does not perform as well as the S2000 but it costs what, about $7000 less. I can understand the appeal, but was willing to pay more for more performance and exclusivity.
I forget the sticker price on a TT cabriolet, but I believe it's probably at least $5000 more than the S2000, at least for the 225-hp version. The 180 hp coupe's sticker is about even with the 240 hp S2000 roadster. For the same price, I got a roadster with more performance. The 225-hp engine is only available with the all-wheel drive and the TT was designed as a coupe, so the 225-hp cabriolet will probably weigh 4-500 pounds more than an S2000.
The boxter is probably a good $8-10,000 more than the S2000. I didn't want to pay that much; the car is probably great, but out of my price range. It's no trick to build a great car if price is no object.
The BMW Z3 3.0 Roadster is very nice, but stickers for about $6,000 more than an S2000. It does have a lot of content that the S2000 lacks, but for $6,000 more it should. I felt the S2000 gave me most of what I wanted at a price I could live with.
Any of the cars mentioned would be great to own; it just comes down to your individual wants and budget.

I have not driven a S2000 yet either, hopefully I will soon. I have sat in one...tighter fit than the TT. Miata was the tightest...I'm 5'11" and was crammed in there.
Also, I considered the Z3...couldnt hold a curve if it had to. So it is out....
Is the electronic dash hard to get used to.....call me old but the Boxster dials look classic.
I would LOVE to take a little from one car, add to another and presto. I am finding out there is not a 100% car for all my wants.

Based on the list of cars you gave, you should be able to make an easy decision based on your priorities in a car. None of those are real competitors for the others, IMHO.
The S2000 is designed as a performance and handling roadster, and nothing else. Don't expect a glove box, don't expect to carry suitcases in the trunk, don't expect a Lincoln Towncar ride. In stock form, don't expect much from the radio, either.
If you are looking for prestige and exclusiveness (Boxster), comfort and cutting edge styling(TT), low priced convertible (Miata), then the S2000 doesn't fit you.
