How do you think that this car will stand up to the S2000 performance wise. And please, no comments about apples to oranges. I know that this car has a back seat and costs about $10,000 more than the S2000.
My response: "no comment".

If you put that $10k in a FI system and suspension upgrade the S2000 will own the 135i street or track.
But both stock the 135i is gonna bitchslap the S.
I like the looks of the 135i. My wife likes it so much she is already planning on trading her RSX S.

Will miss the s2k though.

stock vs stock... it's apple and orange. rofl
How stupid would it be to ask "would you rather have an apple or an apple"?

I would ever-so-much rather have a honeycrisp apple than a red delicious apple.
You can compare anything you want, in this case, no one would go against the fact that 135i would beat s2k stock. What more to compare?
The meaning of term "apple and orange" used when comparing cars is different than when we really compare an orange and an apple in terms of fruit. I'd rather compare similar cars with minor differences and at least around the same price. Isn't this why ap1 vs ap2 is so famous? lol

Hell there are people on this forum and others that don't think it's valid to compare the S2000 to the MX5.
What's left? Comparing one color S2000 to another?
My point is that there's no reason to poo-poo the question just cause somebody asks us to compare the S2000 to a car that's not a 2-seater, or that's not a convertible, or that's not a 4-cylinder, or that's not NA, or costs more, or costs less, or ...
Now if he had asked us to compare the S2000 to an ocean liner I would say say it's a dumb question.
OK, sorry for the hijack.

I'v e read the suspension is the same as the M3 or very similiar to it. Looks like it'll be a nice little car but I've also read that they don't have a LSD. BMW is using their traction control instead and claiming it does a good job of mimicking LSD. If it doesn't have a LSD, I'm not interested.
