Default S2000 vs CR

I've been saving up for a while and I'm gonna be looking for one sometime around may....
If i reach my goal of at least 20k (finance the rest.)
Should i just go all the way and get a CR?
Is it that better than a base s2k?
Not gonna be daily driver.
Will be garaged/safe at night.

I like the tonneau/hardtop conbo too.
Just have to be careful where i go with the hardtop off and where i park.
Not to mention a good alarm with proximity sensor.

As a previous non-CR owner and now a CR owner, if its just a weekend car get the CR. The machine is less refined and feels much more raw and tuned from the factory. Its that much better to get in a weekend car and feels so different than your DD. Plus it sounds like a CR is what you really want. Don't settle, live the dream

how is the CR in terms of rawness when compared to ap1? driving wise, not creature comforts.
