S2000 vs CR
There is a 2000 S2K with 9,900 miles on ebay right now. Offer the guy $16,500... pay cash, no loan and you will really have something special!
How many <10,000 mile AP1s are left?!
Live the dream... a virtually new AP1

LOL, I guess you really don't want to sell it!
I wanted to buy a CR for my 3rd S2000, but ended up w/ an NFR '08 w/ KW V3's, Gendron bar, Greddy/Go Tuning exhaust, 255's all around, etc. - so I'm confident it will easily outperform a CR, and I still can put the top down.
Best case for a CR IMO is if you want to race stock class in auto-x, or want the best possible performance w/o modding and don't care for top-down motoring. (running w/o the top is tough where I live, b/c the weather can change very quickly)

Or buy a base and make it a Type S?
(CR front bumper/lip, CR trunk/wing, OEM hardtop)
That's what I've done for the most part. When my soft top rips I'll probably yank it out. The hardtop is on 99.99% of the time anyways.
