Default s2000 vs GTI

Just curious what you guys think would win a dead stop race and a 30-40mph roll race. I have a stock Ap1 with AEM cold air intake and a apexi single exhaust, about 150lb stripped from the car as well. My roommate has a 2009 GTI (standard trans) with a APR stage 1 tune and the rest is completely stock. We bust a lot of stones but can't race until i get my car back form paint.

UPDATE:
From a dead stop, S2k wins by ~4 lengths by the time you hit 100mph

From a roll (mostly between 30-45mph), GTI wins by ~3 length by the time you hit 100mph

The cars stay about even once one gets the jump but the s2k can't get a quick enought jump on a roll and the gti can't beat the s2k from a dead stop.

I think you posted in the wrong forum, needs to be moved to street encounters lol. But you should be able to take him in both cases, provided equal driving skills.

I'd put money on the GTI, especially since it has the APR software.

I am leaning towards the GTI since it is tuned. Race him from a stand still to improve tour odds. They loose traction pretty bad when they hit boost.

stage 2 will be competitive. stage 1 doesnt trap as high as s2k, and they'll have traction problems

If Race Wars taught us anything, its that a Honda 2000 beats a VW once VTEC kicks in.
