UPDATE:
From a dead stop, S2k wins by ~4 lengths by the time you hit 100mph

From a roll (mostly between 30-45mph), GTI wins by ~3 length by the time you hit 100mph

The cars stay about even once one gets the jump but the s2k can't get a quick enought jump on a roll and the gti can't beat the s2k from a dead stop.

 

Just out of curiosity, what gear/RPM were you at from a roll?

 

second gear about 5500rpm at 40mph

 

Should have been in vtec and you probably would have kept up/taken him.
