Default s2000 warranty

I got a weird question to ask my friend was looking into this 02 s2000 that has a rebuild title on it. He was going to buy a 1993 rx7 for 15000 but the rebuilt s2000 was only 20 with 3miles on it & it was a light roll over. He was asking me if the rebuilt s2000 still have warranty on it cause if it does he would likely buy the s2000 if not he'll buy the rx 7.

I am part owner of an auto body shop. Our shop deals with many rebuilt & R-Title cars. I am sorry to report that Honda will not honor the warranty of a rebuilt car. The R-title voids any future claims you may have against the manufacturer. Even with 3 miles on the clock, Honda has no way of knowing if the car was properly repaired.

Also,I'd stay away from a roll over. Since the car has been upside down, the oil, coolant, etc, may have leaked out or gone to the wrong part of the engine. I've seen guys recover a roll over...start it...then immediately seize the engine.

...just my $.02
