Hello! I bought my Yellow S2000 3 months ago and at the last minute the dealer told me that the S2000 only comes with a 6yr/100k mile warranty not the 7yr/100k mile warranty that he told me at the beginning. He told me that the S2000 is the only Honda that you cannot buy a 7yr/100k mile warranty, only a 6yr/100k mile warranty. So I went along with him and figured I would call Honda, but I cannot get thru to ask if 7yr/100k mile warranty can be purchased with the Honda S2000. Did anyone buy the 7yrk/100 mile warranty? If so, how much? Thank you, Lenny.

Everything I have read comparing the two has the them about even in acceleration, with the M slightly ahead, and with the S2K more than slightly ahead in cornering and slalom speed....oh, and the fact that you need 10,000 more for the M.

I have the 7yr/100k/$0 warranty from hondacare. If what your dealer says in true, it is a change with the 01's.
