I've heard as early as next year to one generation's worth of S2000s (usually 4-5 years for Honda).

Anyone know for sure?

I expect it will be shortly after people stop asking that question.

Well, a question without an answer. However, it seems to me that with Honda pumping out only NSXs (at a slow trickle) and S2Ks from the Toichi plant, there won't be any production capacity pressure to stop producing S2Ks in the foreseeable future.

Sounds like another round of dealer bullsh+t to scare people into paying way over MSRP.
Pay MSRP, and buy a supercharger with the difference (and put the rest in your pocket).

That would suck if I settled for one of the S2000 colors only to find out Honda's releasing blue to the US in 2002.

Honda makes the NSX, S2K, and the Insight it the one plant designated for low volume models. The rumor from a number of people is that the new NSX and continued hybrid development will push the S2K out after 2001.

Then again the only

Cdelena, I've never heard the 4 year run...it's been either 2 or 3 from the people I talked to. Who knows...I wish they'd make an official announcement.
