I am surprised that no one has really got on the factory installed super charger bandwagon? Many owners have put them on, a lot of R&D and real world use has put superchargers through the mill, it should be easy and pretty cost effective for Honda to put on a super charger at the factory. That would put the S2000 in the performance numbers to shut up "the non-believers" and renew interest in the model for the next run.
