Im usuing an ap1 "00" s2k cluster. It was working fine for a while but now the cluster wont show the mileage. It simply shows mph and underneath that says Trip-A, then if i hit the select button it goes to trip B, and again goes back to trip A. The other button just changes the mph to kmh. Is there some way to reset it or sometihng or maybe theres a safe mode it went into?

The cluster also beeps upon key insertion and priming and even cranking over the engine....

any info? or suggestions?

 

this was not original cluster on the car right??

i would check the wire harness if they were hooked up right

 

there might be something internally wrong with it switch it out with a buddys an see if its the cluster or something else

 

im guess its the cluster, everything works 100% fine, and even when i first turn the key the mileage area and trip area light up for a split second as tehre supose to and then it goes to the normal screen/light areas but the mileage area stays blank and simply says trip-a, i can switch to trip b and after that it goes back to a, dosnt even light up the mileage area for the trip selection', everything else on the cluster seems to work perfectly fine, unfortunately i dont have any buddys with s2k's or know any-1 in the area with a cluster laying around, guess ill have to try and find a used low mileage one online and go from there'

the cluster worked fine for 3+ months, this problem came out of nowhere...ever sense then the mileage has not came up'....mileage on the cluster was around 97k miles, drove it today for about an hour and the mileage nor trip mileage ever came up'

 

Kind of silly question, but are you using the cluster in an S2000 or in something else like a del Sol?

how-ever all the wiring is 100% correct and its fully functional, only issue is my mileage seems to have dissapeared randomly', i might try to find another cluster for sale if i have some spare cash and try it out', i cant imagine it would have anything to do with any wiring considering everything else on the cluster works 100% and before it randomly stopped showing it was working fine'

if i remember correctly the mileage and trip stopped working right after i reset the trip counter...ever sense then no mileage or trip numbers will show'
