Stock S2000s just dont have the torque to initiate an impressive drift. And it'll definately run out of steam going sideways in low sweepers. Turbo FTW!

BTW have you guys seen the Element-D drifter....

It's not really a matter of torque, at least not in first and second gear. The car just doesn't have enough steering lock to be controlable with the tail out where it needs to be for a competative drift. Of course FI makes drifting the car a lot easier, as does the KAAZ LSD, but without steering mods the car just can't be controlled at large drift angles.

Remember that harder tires can be a substitute for high torque when drifting.

Anyways, the s2k needs a better diff like a kaaz 2 way and more steering angle. Then, more power would be nice. Drop in the ASM 2.4 liter toda motor?

 

I saw that honda element drift lol I was like WTF is that doing on the track. Besides that I was impressed with its ability.

 

drifting- waste of tires, the slowest way around a turn, and annoying...but my car drifts just fine! haha
