this got way of topic. That 's ok, the origonal post sucked. Why would you want to tell everyone on the forum you were rejected for a loan?
Because, Junior, he was a 16 year old whose mom was rejected in trying to cosign for his loan --- obviously, there is entertainment in that to us old folks. Maybe he knew that .... not.

Now, as for you, were sorry we didn't show you the appropriate respect for someone of your age group. You'll understand why we do this when you get a little older.

Now, go to your room.

Ok, I'm sorry to crash your 30-somthing club meeting, but there are those of us who are in our early 20's and successful.
I was quoting a 17 year old high school student who claims to pay ALL the bills

I'm 17 and I know I can handle all these bills.

I do make all my own payments and still have plenty of money to spend.

Things are different when you pay for your own stuff, you respect it more.

If I had a 16 year old, I'd get him a couple year old four door Accord or Camry with full air bags, anti-lock brakes, manual transmission, and four cylinders.

It drives me crazy to see well meaning parents spend $3000 for an old pick-up with no air bags, rear wheel drive, poor braking, for 16 year olds with little experience and a full life ahead.

I'm not hating on you I was merely pointing out the differences of someone who has nice material things who is out in the world on their own verses someone who has parent's, relatives or even good friends who is willing to assist in having good things in life.

It's all good, what the hell, you only live once. I wish I had opportunities like this when I was 17

Living at home and working at an Italian restaraunt, I'm sure you eat very well

[QUOTE=JSnow847,Apr 20 2005, 06:40 PM]You know what though, you're right, I don't pay for rent, or electric or any of that because I don't need to.
