You guys are ing dicks. I figured you all would be like that sucks but no you are all a bunch of dicks. And the reason why it said I had an S2k is because I set it like that after I was so sure I was getting one on tues. And for the dumbass who said I stole a VIN number, you don't need one, alls you need is a mouse and a brain.

And what happen was my mom was going to finance through them and the salesman said that we would be approved even if we had bankrupcy but we weren't approved after all.
like that sucks...

I'm sure you can ask around for a bank loan...AT 40% APR!

Wow, a 16 y.o. seeking a loan guaranteed by a person with a bankrupcy on record. Is is possible to have a credit score with negative numbers? At that point don't they automatically issue you credit cards so that they can cut them up?

They do issue the credit cards, they just cut them up before you get them

actually....if they are stupid enough to give you a credit card when you're under 18, when you turn 18 you have the option to not honor the contract and not pay, totally legal since minors are not allowed to enter into legal contracts.

Me being 22 I don't have much of a leg to stand on..........but, I have owned my S for about 2 years. I had it probably 4-6 weeks and crashed it , nothing major just bent rims and a few broken/ bent pieces, anyway to make a long story short it was close to $2,500 dollar mark in repairs. Needless to say I have calmed down since then. The S2000's are wonderful to own and a blast to drive, but just wait a few years learn to drive, I would have saved a lot of money if I would asked for the advice of the people on this site.

But don't listen to me or anyone else on here, your young, no one can tell you what to do. Everyone over the age of 20 is on a down hill slide, and they are all stupid.
So act now while you still have all of the knowledge in the world and you still know what is best, hell move out, reproduce and pass your wealth of knowledge on before its too late!!!!!

Kid, save yourself the headache and close the thread.

Oh yea and I am ing dick.

This is what happens when the value of the older production S2000's drop below the $20k threshold.

We get immature high school kids being more able to purchase this car and the quality of the owners and this site starts to drop.

I certainly am not giving you a hard time. I actually tried to give a helpful suggestion on what to do with your current situation and have a hell of a lot of fun in the process. Getting a used Miata and fixing it up might not get you an S2000, but it gets you all the fun you would want out of a 2-seater. I also figured HS kids would love to fix up a car and make it badass (and all HS generations I am aware of were like this).

You'd get the experience, a car that was meant to do fun stuff like autocross, cheap and plentiful mods, cheaper insurance, and the open car experience. I know Miatas are not considered the most "manly" of cars, but if in nice shape and tastefully modded, no one will give you any crap over it. Chicks dig Miatas too.

You are lucky to have parents who would want to get you such things provided you are responsible enough to handle them. My folks would not give me squat in regards to a vehicle. No cosign, no financial assistance, and definitely not on their policy. It kept me out of a car until I was done with college. I actually had to wait until I was 36 before I could get a car like this.

now that has some ironic humor to it!

Sorry Cyclon - but that's funny.

This thread took me through my lunch hour - you guys crack me up!

on topic:
to S2000owner - it's definitely tough to be young and to hang your hopes & dreams on some sort of material thing (like a car) ... I think many of us have been there whether we admit (or remember) it... being young is a gift, the problem as i see it is that sometimes by definition being young is, not enough has been accumulated in the way of lifes experience to truly undedrstand the meaning of loss... and that the loss of material things and the dissappointment from unrealized material expectations is probably the least painful experience there is - particularly if your perspective is kept in the right place...(of course that place of perspective is yours to determine) - in time you'll figure out what really matters in your life...maybe.

That was unforunately inevitable as soon as the base pricing for the S2000 was announced.

At least those of us that have been here for awhile got to enjoy it before the transformation.
