having just left the Miata ownership community - there was periodically discussion of how the Miata 'Wave' was dissappearing....my theory is that there's always gonna be friendly people who take a moment to share/connect and there's always gonna be people who don care or care to... who you see on any given day is just a roll of the dice...

I kinda thought that at first, but then I noticed that people in Accords or Acura TL's don't waive at each other. Why should we? That's like waiving at someone who has the same shirt as you, or waiving at the guy on the golf course that has the same clubs as you.

It's cool when you get a mutual waive from another S2000 owner, but if you don't, that doesn't make the person an A-Hole. That just means they don't understand.

thank u guys....this makes me feel soo much better...i was just crying...lol jp...i dunno in my opinion if u bought a s2 then u must have done the research and u should know that ur not driving JUST A NORMAL CAR!!! I just didnt want this situation to become like the Camaro situation that ive noticed.

oh yeah and nate im at that mall often and i dont recommend driving ur S if ur plannin on staying for a while...high class malls = high class cars = thieves...Do u guys know many other S owners personally?

I dont mind if they dont wave at me first or anything, but if u wave at them then mayb they should wave back. the option that makes them an A - HOLE is the snobby "my S is better than urs" look.

mayb it is me...i dont drive recklessly or anything, and i actually have a perfect record so far without any accidents. Do u think some S owners get offended because im only 20 years old?

i give a flash of the high beams or a thumbs up and if they see me, i usually get a smile back at the least.

maybe some of yall are just ugly?

i wish jersey owners could get together...then i could be like "hey werent u the a#$hole that didnt wave!!! and beat him with my Honda tuned baseball bat..." lol no jp...i would like to see what other S owners are like and see what they have done to their cars.
