I can't really answer this yet. I have almost 1,500 miles on my S and have yet to see another one on the road while I'm driving it. If I ever do I certainly plan on waving.

I'll tell you what though, if you think this is bad. When I had the Porsche it was way worse. It seems like a very small percentage of P-car owners are enthusiasts like us. There are some that are total hardcore, but a lot that just like shiny expensive things. When I would flash my lights to another P-car I would get 10 nasty looks for every one return flash.

If you get the reaction at a light - its probably because they think you want to race, so they might aviod contact on purpose. Also a lot of drivers simply don't pay attention to their surroundings, so they might not even see you.

Yeah, I have passed a lot of S2000s that don't even look my way, let alone wave. Which is cool cause if they don't want to wave then that's their choice I guess.

However, I do thinks it pretty sad that I passed a group of Z3s and Z4s one day and the drivers about jumped out of there seats to wave at me...every single one...

...and a lot of S owners won't even shoot you a glance....

There's a guy in his 60's (hard to tell zipping down the road) that's always good for a wave or a nod. He's about the only one though.

I dont mind if they dont wave at me first or anything, but if u wave at them then mayb they should wave back. the option that makes them an A - HOLE is the snobby "my S is better than urs" look.
It seems a bit narcissitic to think that someone's an A - HOLE just because they don't wave back at a total stranger. I'm sure the person wasn't thinking his S was better than yours. Maybe they were embarrased or just shy. Or maybe they had a sh!tty day at the office.
