On Tuesday the 20th, my g/f and I were on our way to work and we had exited the 210 Freeway. (Tujanga, or whatever that exit is called) We got stopped at the light, then proceeded with our right turn. I stepped on the gas a little bit, but my tires spun like crazy, (tires were pretty new and still had plenty of tread) and we ended up spinning into the opposing lanes and were hit by oncoming traffic. We were both knocked unconscious. I got a wound on the back of my head, my g/f had a concussion, and the driver of the van walked away I believe. When the ambulance arrived, we instantly awoke and had trouble opening the doors. The paramedics then had to cut open both doors to get us out. We were taken to the hospital and were there for a few days. I luckily only received stitches the back of the head. I believe this accident could have been much worse. Thank the Lord.

Totaled?

Bye bye S2000 !!

wow.... sorry for your S..... glad your'e OK..... mini vans..... I hate those F!@#ers
Were they on the phone and speeding ... did the cops cite the minvan for unsafe speed for conditions

I guess you made a right on a red.... after stop and the ass came around on you.
The van was green left arrow?

looks like a good hit 40-50mph for the van
any cameras for video at the intersection? did the van attempt the stop or avoid you?

Hope you and GF have a quick recovery

Oh that is horrible, I'm glad you guys are okay. I had a similar experience last Monday in the rain, I was barely into the throttle, and the car couldn't get traction - luckily there was no opposing traffic.

My wife drives by the exit every day. I am glad to hear that you and your girlfriend came out okay.

Totaled? I would say that is the most totaled car I have ever seen.

are you saying it's the minivan's fault he lost control of his car and went into oncoming traffic? i hope you're kidding. wet road + lead foot most likely caused the accident and hope the driver realizes that because he could've taken other people out.

Why would the cops charge the minivan driver?
and we ended up spinning into the opposing lanes and were hit by oncoming traffic

Man that statement is so out of place in this topic. It could've been real serious. I've so far taken my beater car when it is raining but if the S spins out of control that easy just going from a stop. I dont think I'll ever take the sucker out when the weather looks bad.
