Congratulations on your survival.

Have you had the car long? What kind of tires were installed? From what I can see in those tiny pictures, that doesn't look like the S02 tread pattern. You should check to see if you had a correctly staggered setup, because if not, the car can oversteer like crazy. I am often worried about new S2000 owners who get their cars with cheapo tires slapped on by unscrupulous dealerships. This car is very sensitive to tire selection.

Man that statement is so out of place in this topic. It could've been real serious. I've so far taken my beater car when it is raining but if the S spins out of control that easy just going from a stop. I dont think I'll ever take the sucker out when the weather looks bad.
i guess honda put traction control on the 06's for a reason then

That statement is very much in place in this topic. Look at it this way, they both have the ability to laugh. Beside's, I think he was being sarcastic by asking if his car was totaled

This car is really pretty good in the wet with the exception of standing water at speed's of 65+ mph. 70 mph in standing water in this car even with relatively new S0-2's

The NFR in the first pic is mine. With 12k hard mile's on my S-02's, I held my own with the crew through the twisty's in the Santa Cruz Mountain's. They killed me on the freeway though when the water started to build.

Um... what?

Glad you're ok, hope there's no permanent damage and you're up and driving (carefully) again.

Would the cop "sight" him with the scope on his gun...or the radar detector?

I think you meant "cite".

Is there even a passagenger side airbag in this car? I doesn't look like the passenger airbag even employed.

I almost put my car sideways on my way to work at this one stop light everytime the road is a little wet. If I'm gassing it even a little bit around this turn even at like 10 or 15mph I can feel the rear almost come loose.

Glad to hear that you guys are both okay.

The driver side airbag didn't even deploy, and yes there is a passenger side air bag. I think they didn't deploy because this was a rearend accident..and they only deploy in frontal accidents?
