Ive owned 3 now and I still wouldn't use it as a daily driver.... Thats what the Fit is for (and the 88 Civic hatch years ago). But I don't live in an ideal climate.

^Nope. This is my first and last S2000 and never looking back.

I've enjoyed the car to the fullest extent and believe it's time to move on to something better. I personally think the cars time came and went 5 years ago but it still serves it's purpose on warm sunny days in southern California.
I thought the same thing 6 years ago when I sold my 2001... But I'm back. I still think there is nothing "better" out there for the same purpose.

The S2000 is a very good everyday car in my opinion. The only downside is its storage capacity.
basically this sums it all up.

I had it for 1 full month. the only time i regreted having an S is when i have storage.

the trick is ( TOp down, passenger seat is ur 2nd trunk.)

If i had the money, or didnt sell my perfect DD. I would not dd the S.

I picked up the CR because I missed DD'ing my AP1. The S2000 even makes grocery runs fun!

S2000 for daily driving + beater SUV for hauling / deep snow FTW.

Maybe but who knows. I personally don't put the car on a pedestal like some owners do. After numerous test drives I realized it's time to get something else.

I just took an 8 hour trip in mine and it was fine and comfortable. Over rough highway and bridge seams it rides rough but that is to be expected.

I will use as DD three seasons of the year in the NE. Love the sound, the feel and being involved in the driving experience. Prefer a beater in the winter.

I would not want to take this light a car on the highway, especially in a heavy rain storm with ponding however. Did that with my Supra and G37s and it was horrible.

BTW- the two best cars I ever took on a prolonged trip in heavy rain on the Pa turnpike were my 07 Si (gone) and my 04 Sti (gone). Total confidence with both.

If I had a second car like a civic or anything like that I would never want to drive it. I love dd'ing the S.
For a couple years I commuted 75 miles a day in it. That was the best part of the day!!
I've never had an issue with storage. I even have a subwoofer in the tool well area and still could fit two suitcases in there.
I've driven mine twice from NY to FL now and 17 hours still felt nice and comfortable in it.
Ive driven mine through snow and rain. Rear tires are a little bald so not the best in rain but never lost control or anything. I did spin out once in snow but I was asking for it with bald re050's!!
