How many of you blink your lights at other S2Ks? Just pull the turnsignal arm towards the steering wheel and all the front lights go on instantly. I have flashed several S2Ks and the drivers look lost or puzzled. One guy turned on his headlights, it appeared he didn't know about pulling the lever. Remember, it is a courtsey thing to reply. Ashville should look like a flashbulb convention.

Sideways, thanks for the info. Didn't know that!

Any Californians making the trip to Asheville?

Well, I would if I saw one out there. But in my limited two months of driving it, I haven't seen another S2000 on the road yet. Waiting for spring.....

Haven't seen another in Utah either even though I email a couple locals regularly. But if I do see one I'll flash my lights wildly per your request

We don't seem to have the same level of comradarie in Oz. Motorcyclists will give each other the nod sometimes but I've not experienced it driving the stook. As AusS2000 said ..maybe it's just me

I remember a time when EVERYBODY who drove ANY kind of roadster would wave, honk, blink lights or whatever at each other as they crossed paths. This was actually kind of annoying, especially when lesser cars like an MG would wave at me (I was driving a Datsun 2000 at the time - 5 speed, 2L, 150HP, 135mph top speed - big stuff for it's time). So I resorted to just giving a little nod. A polite acknowledgement with little effort.

That practice is not so prevelant any more and is mainly seen amoung enthusiastic owners of the same car (like our S2000). That said, I won't be getting all hysterical and flashing my lights when I see another S2000. A simple nod is the refined acknowledgement.

P.S. Anybody that has owned Hondas know how to blink the lights. I wish that feature was on some of the other cars I drive.

I remember these times also. I also remember that the guys with Porsches or M-Bs would never acknowledge a British roadster. But I can't believe that a driver of a 60s vintage Japanese roadster would have the stones to consider a British roadster beneath him. That said, in the year I have owned the S2000, I closed on another one once.
