Yeah, I got a Vortech SC and its supposed to be right around 300 whp. Ive heard from 290-310 to the wheel. I havent dyno'ed mine. Plus, Ive also heard that anything above Vortech's stock boost PRETTY MUCH requires EMS and stuff. Nothing that Id care to do so Im staying with the stock stuff. Lemme kno if you're interested, I might be selling my SC very soon. I dont boost enough to keep it.

s2k = all pro's
rx7 FD = all con's

(unless the FD has an LS1 in it...then it's a whole other ballgame )

fds are kinda hard to come by... but think about it... that car is slightly older than the s2k... id rather get something newer and not worry about the car breaking down!!

it seems like lots of you guys are biased. I've had 2 FDs, now a S2000 owner, and I like both cars. the reliability of FD wasn't that bad if you do the maintenance on time. I find FD a bit faster than S2K, but S2K has better gas/mileage ratio, and it's newer. However, if I was given a brand new S2K or FD, it will be a really tough choice for me, but a 94 FD and a 06 S2K, I would take the S2K.

Other than the rx7 looking awesome, the s2k wins every time. Have money for the upkeep on the rx? Then you have enough to turbo the S and spank the daylights out of any car on the road.
