shit im sorry im still

but yeah as everyone said just check your oil...and obviously the more you rev up your motor, the more the life is reduced..somewhere it is said that usually motors are built to run 400-800 hours on pure redline and there was a test done that a s2000 rocker arm broke at 350 hours..so look at it like that when you hit redline each day for a couple seconds 100 times a day lol
dang 350 hours is about 14 and a half days

Always, ALWAYS make sure you Vtec fluid is full. And always make sure to save some Vtec fluid for the rapid run to the clinic! Anyone remember the doosh who thought they could build a meter to show how much vtec they had left?

lol

Don't use vtec ever and engine will outlast the anciliaries and everything else in the car.
Use vtec and engine will still outlast the rest of the car as the powertrain takes more punishment.
Any way you look at it, the engine is probably the most durable part of the car.

I believe Jeremy Clarkson said it best on the top gear episode with the S2000 vs Porsche Boxter vs BMW Z4, "Honda has made over 15 million of these engines (with v-tech, also not sure about the exact number I'm close I think) since its introduction in 19XX and up until this date there hasn't been one failure."

Go Jeremy Clarkson, you rule and have the best job ever!
ahhh yes..v-tech

you can now stop showing jeremy clarkson that you have no gag reflex

What is this VTEC you speak of? Is it some sort of variable timing that allows more fuel to enter the chamber causing rapid acceleration? I am confused.
in your attempt to sound stupid but smart at the same time you accomplished only the first it allows more AIR to enter the chamber by changing the cam profile, requiring more fuel, but VTEC does not increase the fueling per say.
