Despite all these random posts on how VSA is bad and they would never have it, I bet if all s2ks had it, there would be much fewer accidents. Whether anyone wants to believe it or not your not even 50% of the driver you think you are because I bet less then half the people here have ever been to an autox / race track to see how much they really DON'T know how to drive.

Fact is VSA can save you from a bad situation. 99% of the time you shouldn't even be driving to the point where you need VSA to save your ass but you know what, shit happens (ie, grease, gravel, etc) and thats what its there for; a last resort.
Thank You Jon.

i believe that the vsa is a GREAT invention especially for safety.

BUT...

dude...u bought an s2000...it's almost like sayin 'i want vsa on my motorcycle'
its a rwd race bred car just like what everyone else said. if you all that gizmo stuff, why didn't u get an evo?
If there was a device for a motorcycle that prevented another car from merging into your lane so they can't hit you, would you have that same "I'm invincible" attitude to that device?

doesn't the ABS system on the '04 and up AP2's already have individual braking built-in, for example if you brake hard while turning?
yea thats abs (should be on all years of s2k) so you wont lock up your brakes while braking not VSA.. say you hit a corner to fast.. it can slow down the wheel that has wheel spin so you gain traction gain to complete your turn safely

You actually brought up a good a point... For the ones that are talking about how VSA are for noobs and that it's a race bred car and all... why don't you complain to Honda for having ABS Brakes????

I mean REAL RACE CARS and VERY SKILLED DRIVERS don't use ABS... so that should be thrown out the window as well?!?!?

We bought S2000s just like the rich people buy their exotics... Ferraris, Lambos... whichever... they still have some sort of vehicle stability control.

Oh yeah... did we also forget to mention that we can TURN IT OFF?!?!?

Next time someone posts about spinning out in the rain or whatever else in a Non-VSA S2k... you should tell them that they should have used their INDY Car Pro Driver skills to get out of it.

Andre
cuz you know i never seen any profession drivers screw up

those who are saying if your pushing your car to where vsa has to save your ass, you shouldnt be driving.. so your telling all those times you guys drifted a corner and or whatever and had to correct for it shouldn't be out there driving as well

That "racebred car" stuff is quite funny actually, since the gizmos like VSA are first developed on race cars...

He'd have to be really quick, and even then I don't know...said front pushed instantly into the right lane. I don't know if the fronts even had grip enough to steer out.
