Oh it's down at the bottom and would be covered by a lip? Do it!

Man, I just feel like I'll eventually scrape it up with the roads around here. I'll consider it though.

I understand how you feel but give it some time and a touch up and after a couple of months if you decide to go ahead with a repaint then do it.
I've got one rather prominent chip on my front bumper that I've sort of learned to live with. The day will come when a few more chips will appear and then perhaps I will actually do something to have them fixed.
If it isn't an eyesore, live with for awhile.

Jack's got a point. Damage will happen so it's easier just accepting it.

I slid into a curb in the snow the other day and was sure I'd snapped my fiber glass amuse style lip but it came out fine. A little scratch and I'm fine with it.

when i was in the marker to get my entired bumper stripped and re-painted the estimates were around 450. however i found a guy who worked at fix-it auto collision, which is where honda referred me. he did it as a side job for 150, and it came out pretty damn good.

Yeah, damage is going to happen. I hate seeing the car with even minor damage though. I'll try the touch up. Do they make any kind of pen style applicator with the touch up paint? And would it be best to touch it up first or wax it?

just go get a kit from ur autoparts store. they actually work surprisingly well and is in a pen form. basically ur trying to build the paint up. if u put too much just use a really soft grade of sandpaper to sand it back down to level. Then use a polisher with some rubbing compound to buff it back to gloss. if you do it right, it'll be almost impossible to tell.

Wow man, I would be mad as hell. At least he didn't wreck your ride though.

And yeah, I'll give the touch up kit a try. I just can't wait to see what Honda is going to try and charge me for some touch up paint though.
