It ain't their fault you bought tires from store B and now they don't fit, you are simply stuck with a supplier that cannot deliver in the timeframe that you need. It is your responsibility to make sure you get what you ordered. It is not their responsibility to tell you when and where to buy your tires. Best you can do is demand a full refund by returning the goods. What is with this generation that requires so much spoonfeeding??????? The supplier gave you the wrong stuff and they suck for that, but that is all. The responses I hear on this thread are from a bunch of generation spoonfeedme, I need I need I need. JMO.
Do you even know how to read?

Btw, the shop I ordered from (site sponsor) gave me a very good deal on Advan RS in gunmetal to make up for this. They have been very cooperative, and spent time on the phone with me to try to straighten things out. They sent the right P/O, and AKH Trading (Work's distributor) screwed up.

I felt the fair thing to do would have been to overnight the correct wheels from Japan. These are the actions that I take where I work, and I would expect that from others, especially in this economic market. Believe me, overseas shipping rates have plummeted to the gutter (I work for Hanjin).

It is my understanding that the new wheels will be ordered before the shop is refunded by Work, as I need to wait for the shipping slip to arrive, and for the wheels to make their way back to the warehouse. I am paying the shop an additional difference between these 2 sets, instead of making a full payment for the new set, and getting a refund for the Works. I will keep everyone updated how this goes to help assist you with your future purchase decisions.

Oh, and I forgot- I weighed the CR Kai (17x9 +44) on 3 different scales in my house, and they all said 19lbs even. I beleive thats 2+lbs less than advertised. I didn't open the box with the 17x8 +47 though.

Sorry to hear abt all these complications and I hope you get everything taken care of.

I'm not sure if it matters, but you can fit a 17x9+28 if you have the asm fender flares. I'm fitting 17x9+45 w/ stock rear fenders, so if the flares give you 20mm more of clearance, it should be fine, shouldnt it?

You fail at reading comprehension.

You don't happen to work for Work Wheels, do you?

Well here's an update-

I purchased from Kamispeed, who has been very helpful trying to clear up this mishap. Instead of waiting a few weeks/months for the Works to come in, I purchased as set of ADVAN RS. 17x8.5 (17lbs) and 17x9 (18lbs). They gave me a great price and I couldn't be happier. I've wanted these rims all along, I just didn't want to spend that amount of money. Now that I have them I feeel no buyers remorse. Interestingly enough, Work's distributor still never sent me return postage tags. I've reminded Kamispeed, so they aren't out the money, and I even tried to call the distributor, but they won't take my call as I am not a vendor.

You should have gone with the 17x9 +28s. Nick (Nichigo) and others run 17x9 +22 with the ASM rear overfenders with no issues.

At least you got it settled.
