TJS2K, I do not mean to be insulting. I am just ignorant of what a quadrapalegic is. How can you drive with even partial paralization of all limbs? Please educate me.

I sell these little travel sized pillows in my stores (and no, I'm not selling them here, I know that its against the rules, and thats fine), made out of latex... relatively inexpensive... decided to see if they were actually any good (was giving them away with high end mattress purchases just as a little bonus)... and they help a lot for lower back support.

So on a long trip, I'll stuff one of those in behind my lower back, and then I can drive the S2000 for hours on end (tried it on my trip to Seattle, Vancouver and back... 3,500 KM of driving in total.

Otherwise, the seat is plenty supportive/comfortable for every-day driving around town and such.

I'm a bit on the younger side, but I've drive the s2k on 14 hour trips three times now and have never had a problem.

I'm also a partial Quadriplegic and sat in all the two seaters on the market, none fit like the S2k. Lots of leg room, my knees didn't hit the steering wheel and I could get the seat to go back far enough to get comfortable.

I did raise the seat about 1/4 inch in back and 3/4 in front, and could use another inch or so to recline the seat, but I'm ok.

I'm 5'9" with pretty long legs and long drives can get uncomfortable in that I have no where to go. You kind of ware the S2k rather than sit in it.

It's been almost three years and I still love this car!

Wow! Thanks for all the great and quick replies. I can see this is going to be the place to gain some knowledge before making the plunge

Good luck, TJS2K!!!

I think the seats are quite comfortable, as well, and my daily commute is just over 70 miles a day (round trip). I've been to Santa Cruz (a couple hours) in the car and my body doesn't ache afterwards. Granted, I haven't been in your situation before so I hope you can borrow the S for a few hours. Either that or sit in it for a few hours and watch everybody mill around, looking at the Civics and Accords.
