Ditto here on the trouble with reinstalling those bolts - and they are obviously critical. The bolts are very close to the floor, so adding sound deadener (almost .3" for me) gets in the way. I cut away the deadener from the floor around the anchor and it worked out. For those scared to try this, you could slit the carpet from the bolt to the door sill and never have to detach the seat belts.
