Plenty of times my car has gone off with something as simple as a cat jumping on it, needless to say it got a pellet in the ass.

I also prefer my car to always be in sight, or in a garage. I know that it is just a car and blah blah blah. But come on, if you work hard for it, work hard on keeping it nice, it has significant value to you. This is something I just can't let someone fk with or steal and get away with.

Can you rent a garage at the complex? That's the ultimate deterrent. Out of sight out of mind.
Unfortunately no. As I said, the nearest garage I've found is $225 bucks. I've decided that's not worth paying every month on top of insurance, even if it provides peace of mind. I'd rather just get a good alarm system, and deal with some level of risk.
Unfortunately, rental garage spaces are overpriced. You can get a storage unit that size for $100-$125 a month. Not that they would let you, I'm just making the point that most garage rentals are a rip off. For $225 they better be providing you electricity and enough space to work on your car there. I lucked out and found a family member that had garage space they don't use. I was going to throw $50/month at them, but they told me I could just keep it there for free.

Lucked out I guess

I hear there is a compound in Abbottabad that is relatively secure, requiring at least a squad of Navy Seals with a couple Helicopters to get in, and it is available. Not sure how much it is going for, but the last tenant, and his guests, did leave a mess.

Check your Actual Cash Value of your insured vehicle. If the value of your stolen seats exceeds a certain percentage of the ACV, then your car can be totaled by the insurance company. Then, they won't repair or replace missing or damaged parts.
