If mine vibrated I've not noticed it. Will pay attention next time. Holding onto the knob or using as a hand rest will put abnormal wear in the gearbox. Shift it and let go unless you need another gear right away.

Sorry for the late reply but here it is:
If the prop is not topped of with grease inside the boots, there will be play and the prop will not be aligned properly,
its normal that it vibrates and its normal if you see it moving, but its not normal if its vibrating all the time at any speed.

I had 1 bolt that came off my prop and that made it loose grease through the boot, I then did 1 search on Youtube with the term: "s2000 propshaft" here it is, self explanatory:

6th gear...

I'll try to take another video soon at a higher speed.
how were you only doing 3k rpm at 100mph?
