Not really for winter, as that doesn't exist in SoCal, but I just picked up a 2007 Kia Rondo V6 with 144k miles on it as a beater/daily just recently. I daily-drove the S2000 for almost 11 years. I'm even more excited to drive the S2000 now that I don't do it everyday.

 

Alll year round beater/dd. Recently acquired to replace a 2018 Impreza. Wanted something bigger to take my elderly parents around and to the snow.

 

This forum is too funny. OP posts winter beater and then gets ridiculed for driving it. Then the next thread will be someone posting an S2000 with 10k miles and they too get ridiculed for NOT driving it. Can’t win with the sophisticated folk on this forum. Good on you OP for getting that Miata out and about. Bet it’s a good time!

 

Thanks for the support! It is a good time and was just a few thousand bucks. Yes, it's a nice sports car, but there are a million and I can find 5 that I wouldn't mind buying on FB marketplace at any moment. There are literally hundreds of thousands of them and so cheap in every way. Gives me my fix when the s2k is away.

I wouldn't drive my s2k in salt, snow, etc. The MIATA is a winter car.
