Only german cars are good. Even when they break down every now and then, owners just dont care. They are still the best. Othe car makers for sure make worse cars.
As i bought my S2000, everybody wonderd why i bought "Japanese crap", a "car for Women" and not a proper sports car for man like a Z4. Hey, the Z4 is sportier, it has this "Sport" button!

And the say we germans dont have humor...Sometimes reality beat even Monty Phyton here.
That's funny. A Z4 is considered a girly car in North America
. Same with Porsche Boxster.
I got a few pokes from my friends about going from a S550 Mustang GT to a s2000.
Can't say the pride is the same here for owning American cars. They fall apart almost as bad as Fiats. Depending on the make and model that is.

Gets 10 mpg? Check
Well if that don’t classify as a winter beater I don’t know what does. It even came with all the stickers in it! All jokes aside other than the fuel usage it’s a pretty good car for $700. Got it from my friend before he got stationed in Korea. It’s does great off-road especially for all the hilly trails here in Washington.

Picked this up as the winter beater while the S2k sits in the garage and ended up doing 4 track days with it in 6 weeks

Here's my winter beater 2004 2014 Lexus IS350 FSport AWD. Bought new, great car.

I was too busy admiring my S2K and completely forgot what year my IS350 was
