It was easier then the Ap1 instructions. There is no grinding and cutting involved. Also the boot looks much much better and is much sturdier.

I pulled some of the boot thats tucked down, up a little more. Then used heavy duty double sided tape just below the knob. Works well, been on for over a year.

I'm still having no luck with this rubber hose piece it only wants to stay up enough to expose the nut. I'm about ready to get a zippy tie

I ziptied mine, but I'm not happy w/ the result - will fudge with it later, it's not bothering me anymore (I did lose sleep over it.)
