If I had a scale I'd weigh them for you but as I don't this is all that I can tell you.

The 04 knob again looks to be made of 2 different materials.

My Ti knob is obviously lighter, so until i can find a way to weigh these suckers I won't know if I got ripped off or if the 04 knob is just really heavy.
I think I have found the answer for you.
If you have purchased one of the original OEM Ti knobs that look like this:

It should weigh 155 grams as I posted before.

If you are comparing this to the current OEM stock knob, then this shows how much it weighs:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=313354
It weighs 240 grams.

I was making the incorrect assumption that you were comparing the Ti knob to the older OEM Aluminum knob. You are thus correct in that the current day OEM Al knob is heavier than the Ti knob. These are not quite from the same "era". My apologies.
However, till you weigh the Ti knob, you won't know for sure what it really is.

I also have the weight of the OEM Ti knob.

This is our specially heat treated version. It is heavier than the OEM Aluminum one by 14grams.
