I'm new in this board and I don't have my S2000 yet but soon. I'm planning to put a supercharger in my S2000 not the turbo because of my personal experience on maintaining it. I'm still convince with the supercharger. What are your personal opinions, pros and cons, on the Comptech supercharger? I heard that vortech supercharger with after cooler is coming out, any idea? Where can I purchase the supercharger at a good price? The shop I mostly go to is asking me for $4700 for everything. But I know I can install the comptech supercharger by myself.

not attacking the product at all but

an s2000 that i know got the SC, got an ACT clutch, dropped at 5.5k the first nite he had it and snapped the diff. i still want the power though

 

This sounds a lot like a Telephone Game version of what happened to me...except there's no reference to "Superman" or "Underwear".

Do you actually know this guy?
