I've heard that the DC headers give you no performance increase. They look nicer, but I'm definitely not going to spend money to make my headers look nicer without a performance increase. Anybody else want to chime in?

i did a little search and here is the result

people said they "felt" a better mid range.

and seems like its at least 10lb lighter than the stock header

to me, as long as it won't lose power and it's +10lb lighter, i will be happy. (of course, i am hoping that the header will smooth out the tq curve too.)

plus the DC SS header looks better than the stock.

oh well, different people want different things. (and willing to pay the price)

Spoon and Mugen looks very exceptional and have signifigure gain, but so is their price tag.

i am still waiting for people with a dyno for a DC header.

If you are looking for more power at around $1000.00

For the money, do a J's racing 4.44 gear swap. You will feel
more of a difference in the power.

That's what I'm going to do instead of the mugen headers.
I already have mugen exhaust.

did a little search on the web:

DC SS header pix: http://users.ev1.net/~shinglin/cars/s2k/he...der/page_01.htm

Dyno (don't know if this is w/ or w/o the header):

If anyone is interested I have the DC header brand new in my garage. It is still in the plastic wrap. PM me if this piques anyone's interest.
