My main concern is if an engine management light (or this CEL) will come on. If it does will it just go off if you put the CAT back on? Is there some wort of device to put on that will stop it from coming on?

Before the S I had a 2002 Lotus Elise. Put a cat bypass on that. The bypass was supplied with a electronic gizmo that stopped the engine management light from coming on. If the light did come on you could only get it turned off by a dealer!
