Default Side Catchers (Hardtop Hardware)

I'm trying to sell my hardtop to a local but he has a pre-'02. I looked up the parts catalogue from majestic honda and it says that the right catcher assembly is the same. It is only the Left side catcher that is different. Does anyone know what the difference is? I just want to make sure that my side catchers ('02+) will physically fit his car so that he can install the hardtop on his car. I'm pretty sure it will fit and that the only difference is how the defroster mechanism works with the left side catcher. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm not aware of any differences at all in the side catchers by year, assuming you're talking about the pieces that go under the brushes behind the rear trip to catch the pins on the HT latches. Those come with the HT itself (rather than the "install kit") and the HT parts don't vary by year.
