Default Side mirrors

Do I need a special tool/adapter to take off the side mirrors. My driver-side mirror has too much "play" in it. They are able to fold in and out by design, however, mine is a little loose.

I believe that this topic came up once before in the Under the Hood forum. If the mirror is loose where it attaches to the body, that can be tightened. If the mirror is loose where it pivots, I don't think it's possible to tighten. In the previous thread it was reported to be replaced under warrantee. Your's is a 2002 model? If so there shouldn't be a problem getting it fixed or replaced by Honda.

glass is loose or exterior housing is loose?
i agree with coraldoc that you should take it to the dealer- but if it is just the glass, it is pretty easy to fix (search for the muz mirrors and the removal/ attachment instructions are contained there).
