Default Silverstone colors

Did the paint code change between the years? Or are they all the same. I got an 07 ap2 front bumper and the colors look close, but i wont know for sure until the bumper is on. So..that is where my question comes from.

Hopefully all the silverstones are the same.

I think they are all the same, but color will change slightly on your car from aging so might not be 100% exact.

yeah thats what i was thinking. Silver is a good color for this swap i would imagine though since it is reflective and isnt too prone to oxidation(is that what it's called?)

I just had most of my car repainted cause of slight accident. They used the silverstone oem color code and the paint is really close but you can tell in certain lights it is slightly off. Mine is an '01 so a bit more aging there.

Two cars are never the same color even if they're the same color.

Paint fades and discolors with exposure to UV light. Any good body shop will blend newly painted panels into old ones, or color match to intentionally paint something the "wrong" (faded) color.

Also, silver is the hardest paint to match due to the metal flake -- this is why bodywork on silver cars sucks.

The factory bumpers do not match the car anyway. They are the same substrate and are painted in a different part of the factory and are usuing a differfent vat of paint. Nissans are the worst for this but honda and toyota are not far behind.
