silverstone or new formula red?

The above, however doesn't hold true for any shade of silver, since more than 50% of the "vehicles" on the road are some shade of silver. If you want to look like everyone else, by all means get a silver and join the crowd.
For me, the only color for a sports car is red. It doesn't need to be Italian to be red. Ferraris come in a variety of colors.
As far as that old wives tale about red being a cop magnet, that simply isn't true. I think that your driving style has much more to do with being a cop magnet than anything else.
Above all else, you will be driving an S2000, regardless of the color, it doesn't get much better than this.
Enjoy,
Bob

I happen to agree with what you said about silver. Had I realized that there were so many silver cars on the road I probably would have gone for Spa or Black. In the showroom my silver S stole my heart. On the road, unfortunately, every other car is silver this year.
I didn't mean to flame with my comments about red, it is just that I have always resented that car companies were able to use the color as a marketing tool. Too often a coat of red paint was used by marketing to turn a mediocre car into a sportscar. I resent that as I'm sure you do. A sportscar is a sportscar regardless of color. A second rate car is just that even if it is red.
I too think that driving style is more of a cop magnet then color. And, above all else, an S2000 is a great car regardless of color.
agreed ... I have a silver stook .. and personally it looks great. Saw this M3 today in silver as well .. I actually think it looks crap in silver.
Other colours of s2k I saw in person, Red, Yellow, Blue ... all these exotic colours really bring out the exotic personality of the s2k. Then again .. when the top is down, people see the car and think .. wow whats that car? colour doesnt really matter that much anymore. That being said ... silver is easier to maintain in the long run .... although zaino would alleviate many of the colour problems and depth. All the colours of the stook look good ... personal preference in the end ... some other car manuf allow weird colours, like the purple on the CLK, green on the Beemers ... (although I cant really comment on the european colour variety for the stook) ....
