Default Since Buying Your S2K....

I bought mine back in April of this year and since then have received 4 invitations to evaluate/rate new/concept cars. This takes approx 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 hours of your time and you're paid anywhere from $125 - $250 per invitation. Has anyone else received these invitations? They're kind of fun actually and you can't beat the hourly wage

I haven't rec'd any such "invitations"? Sounds quite interesting though for all enthusiasts alike. Drive enough cars and you could turn it into a full time job. Sheesh...where do I go to sign up?
The story reminds me of a friend who worked for Toyota Canada. His job was to drive brand new Toyotas for 8 hours a day through all sorts of road/weather conditions just to see how well the paint would hold up to road debris and environmental elements. Some people have it way too easy

It might be something your dealership submits since each invitation has known I drive an S2000. Unfortunately you don't get to drive the cars, just give your opinions. I thought it might be something all s2k owners received...

I received an invitation like that a few months ago. I was "disqualified" from the survey group when I answered their query about selling my car with a "not likely" response. Not sure what that meant, but apparently they wanted people who were thinking of selling their cars. At least for this study group.

I don't think your response had anything to do with your disqualification since I responded the same. You need to respond immediately upon receiving the survey because they fill up QUICK. It's the easiest money you'll ever make...

I received one but was disqualified because I answered honestly...I work in marketing in the automotive industry...it would have been fun though. I did them while I was in college for the previous generation of the eclipse(the good one with the gs-x).

i've done it before and was invited back several times until I answered a question about whether I was interested in buying a minivan in the next year honestly with a "no way". Not gotten an invite since...bummer. They were fun and the cash was good too. It was like $150 for 2 hours and $250 for an afternoon discussion.
