SOME! You forgot to qualify your statement! I sell cars for a living (I've been at the same place for 9 years), and the story I told is admittedly anectdotal, but it is truthful. I am also telling the truth when I say that I am not paid to BS. All the BS in the world does not produce a paycheck for me. Being honest is much more rewarding, both spirtually and financially.

Colin, you are a refreshing rare example that we buyers try to find.

The first example I have found with Hondas is Jeff Goetz at Ganely Honda.

Next time I find myself in Honolulu, I'll try stopping by.

I think there would be issues with the weight distribution if that were true, unless they were changing to a different generation that was re-engineered.

Haha, when I bought mine, the finance guy also told me about the 6 cylinder being available next year. I was like, what are you doing?! Here I am ready to cut a check, and you're about to talk me out of the purchase!

I agree, but, if the reengineering was done right, with little/no weight increase and 50/50 distribution, a 3.0-3.2 liter V6 with 8-9k redline, 300 hp, 250+ ft-lb, costing <$35K, I might be interested.

honda originally wanted to make a I-6 engine
but because having a trunk period was more favored upon they immediately cancelled that idea
