i'll just go ahead and listen to this guy.
well, that is great theory. full of holes, like when you lift, sure the revs drop, but the speed drops as well.... whatever, you kids and the internet know everything.... like the "notorious 2nd gear grind" that everyone with a honda has. i have never had any gear grinds in any honda i purchased new. guess i know how to shift.

^that just means youre not used to banging in gears like I used to on my old cars. I could pull trans out of gear while my left foot was starting to press down, before it hit halfway i could hit the next gear and lift back off the clutch. really abusive, but it makes a BIG diff.

lol, umm. ok. being fast does not always necessitate abuse on the car.

You have to wait for it, you can't force it.

I'd say you could just shift the pattern all the way up to the gear you want without letting the clutch out to save wear and get better mileage at the same time.

lolz, i had the t-56 trans....in the camaro. it wasnt abuse, i think. It was normal driving for that car, It never gave me trouble for the trans.

so when i went from
t-56->s2000 tranny
it felt weird cuz i would almost have to 'pause' before the 2nd gear engagement. Just something I had to get used to, its not as though I abuse the s2000, cuz I know its weaker

The t56 is one of the best transmissions I have had. THe stock camaro shifter it came with was sloppy, and it was a pretty heavy transmission I believe - but man, it was bulletproof!
