Small condensation in Tail Light
On my driver's side tail there a smalllll spot of fog coming up. Never had it before, showed up within 30 minutes of cleaning the car. I do have a leak in the trunk that ill be assessing as we speak, maybe it has something to do with that?
Any home remedies you guys had luck with codnensation? I heard taking the light out letting it sit in the sun, then siliconing the edges to ensure a seal when all fog is dried up.
boo, i did not search, kinda in a rush since my cars on.
THANKS, peace.

removing the taillight from the trunk is really easy, so do that and hairdry it out.
check that the rubber gasket on the rear of the assembly is in good shape. hopefully there is an obvious problem there because the gasket is only a 8 buck part from honda and an easy fix.

Whatever you do don't put it in the oven or use high heat hair dryer, the plastic will melt. Good luck.

Not true. The lights can be put in the oven for up to 10 minutes at 250 degrees. I've done this myself multiple times with one set of tail lights (led circuit board attached). Just make sure you do it in small increments. You may be able to simply take the tail light out and inspect where the lens meets the housing for breaks in the seal that could be patched with silicone selant
i dont know if this will help you or not but its worth a shot.
when i crashed my car i got new tail lights. first time i washed it there was moisture in them. the body shop contacted honda and was told there was a bad batch of lights made. took about a month or more before there was another set of tails for honda to send out. maybe you recieved tails from the bad batch????
id contact them and find out but if this is the first time water has got in them i think you are SOL from tham and should DIY.

qft. It is common knowledge on other boards that putting them in the oven at very low temps is the best home remedy to free up the glue so that they can be taken apart.
