I used a product called " Tear Aid" on mine, worked great.

Make sure you get the product for fabric.
I'm just wondering why "Tear Aid for fabric" if the S2K top is vinyl ?
thats what i was wondering about too. If you've got an aftermarket/canvas topic I'd guess the fabric fix would be the one you'd want, but not for the OEM top.

I may be wrong, but I think the tear Aid for vinyl would be for smooth surfaces. The fabric is for woven (or textured) surfaces.

I used the one for fabric because the underside of the top has more of a fabric type feel to it then the top does. Im not sure if the top is just coated with that rubbery/waxy vinyl material or not though. The fabric version has held up great for me though.

After applying the Tear Aid, I applied a piece of velco with the sticky back ( the soft fuzzy half) over it for more protection.

I think vinyl has some type of oil or wax. The vinyl version needs a longer amount of time to adhere to the surface.

HH-66 and old piece of fabric from used soft top patched from inside. Top notch adhesive no issues at all after an entire year.

Seriously, Stormsure, haha. It is for repairing sails and it seems to be perfectly meant for our top's mix of vinyl and fabric.
