Ah yes, Mr. Turkey, that would be the notorious ring of fire which follows ingestion of foods from the subpeninsula. I personally like the Baaaah vindaloo (lamb) and if it doesn't make my hair and eyeballs sweat, well it just wasn't properly prepared. You may also be referring to the "morning after" vindaloo effect, usually accompanied by crying out while reading your favorite car magazine.
Good curry down there in Oz?

hot cars, hot food, just hot ....
Ahhh.... the blowing out the carbon excuse. I say that to my girlfriend everytime I redline my cars. I just tell her that I'm just blowing out the carbon deposits and keeping everything clean.

Normal operation when skirt rings are seating in. Where do all you others think the oil is going anyways? S2K's like oil a lot, particullarly in their early days. The oil is combusted......and where there's fire there's smoke.

. As they say (gotta use the right accent here - I assume you know what loo means)
- Today Vindaloo, tomorrow "in da loo"

Personally I'm a beef man rather than lamb but I won't say no as long as it's hot!
I'm also pretty keen on a good Tex-Mex (with plenty of Jalapenos) but we have a pretty limited range of restaurants serving that cuisine by comparison with the ubiquitous offerings from the Indian sub-continent.
Speaking of hot sweats - I aways drink ice cold beer with my curries, nothing goes down better.

Just remember to check your oil level often during the early weeks/months of the car - esp. if you notice it smoking out the rear end! <G>
The smoking and oil loss should go away about about 5000 miles (based on experience).
