I recently installed Rick's smoked diffusers on my Sebring S2000. I have noticed under different light conditions the lenses have a purple hue to them. Has anyone else noticed this?

My running lights are clear, and my blinker lights are the stock orange bulbs with some silver paint on them to mask some of the orange. Could this be part of the problem??

Anyone else's experiences would be appreciated. As a side note, my wife keeps making fun of my now purplish lights. I would like to figure out if its just me or if other have the same experience, and how I can correct it.

Sounds like you need to put her in check. J/K.

I have to agree!!! I noticed that as soon as I drove out of the
garage after installing them!!! I thought they were working
on an updated smoke color. Not sure though!!

I noticed that too, but I like my purple headlights! They still look good.

Thanks Joe. It doesn't look bad to me. I'm thinking of getting the smokies, so I was interested in seeing then illuminated.

I guess its not just me. It is near impossible to get a picture of the lights showing the purple hue. In some light they look great, however in overcast, or artificial light they look purple. Unfortunately, I live in Oregon---its overcast a lot!
