I posted on this a while ago too (too lazy to go look up link). After multiple visits to the dealers, they told me that it was indeed the brake pads sticking and making a click as they broke loose.

My car did it mainly when I turned the wheels to the right and applied gas after either braking or rolling backwards in reverse (I didn't need to use the brakes to get the sound).

Try turning the wheel to the right, going back and forth (2mph) in 1st and reverse without using the brake. You'll probably still hear the click. This was my problem.

The dealer shaved down the pads and the problem disappeared. However, just so you know, they did a crappy job and got black brake dust and what appeared to be a syrupy goo of brake dust and whatever solvent or water they used. It was a pain to clean off, and if the problem is coming back soon, I'dve sooner just NOT got it done.

I personally just needed the peace of mind. I suspect you have the same problem.

Aquatic, this happens even if I don't touch the brakes. I can go forward and reverse between 1st and reverse (slowly) and it just goes "click - click" with every weight shift, without ever touching the brakes.

It also clicks when I shift from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd... without touching the brakes, it's just that it is harder to hear when you are going.

Anyway, I have an appointment for Friday to get it checked out, while they put on yet ANOTHER set of new tires...

well i could help all you guys with this problem, i repair a few of at my shop, the clicking noise is from the rear drive axle space in the hub cause it to rock back and forth in the hub so wat bullent tell you to do is to lube up the drive axle and and hub with ura grease, ( i dont no if you get it at ur loc. store but you could get it at honda stores) but lube up the axle splins and in the hub and torque it at 200lbs of torque
