Changed my oil this morning and something looked different. Looked closer and saw that heatshield no longer there. Part of aluminum bracket still attached to engine but the other half I assume broke off with the shield. Checked engine bay and undertray and shield nowhere to be found. Oh well it lasted 4 years Anyone else had this happen?

 

 

Mine got loose around the rivits, so I reattached it using other means prior to it separating. I think it is still there.

 

one of rivets on mine is gone. any chance we can send this back to get repaired?

 

If you just want to replace a rivet, get a pop rivet gun and use a washer sized specifically for the pop rivit on the back side. They sell the washers with the rivets.
